Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: June 1, 2026

You can ask us to delete your personal data, including any data we obtained from platforms you connected to Ascend OS (such as Meta — Facebook and Instagram —, Google including YouTube, and TikTok). This page explains how to make that request and what happens next.

1. Request deletion by email

Send an email to info@ascendcontent.io from the address associated with your account, with the subject line “Data deletion request”. Please tell us:

  • The name and email on your Ascend OS account.
  • Which data you want deleted — your entire account, or only the data from a specific connected platform (e.g. your Facebook/Instagram or YouTube data).

We will confirm receipt and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

2. Disconnect a platform yourself

You can stop Ascend OS from accessing a connected account at any time, which halts further data collection immediately:

  • Inside Ascend OS: open the connected account and choose disconnect / revoke access.
  • Facebook / Instagram (Meta): in Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find Ascend OS, and remove it. On Instagram, go to Settings → Apps and websites and remove Ascend OS.
  • Google / YouTube: visit myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party access and remove Ascend OS.
  • TikTok: in Settings → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions, remove Ascend OS.

Disconnecting stops future access. To also delete data we already retrieved, email us as described in Section 1.

3. What we delete

When we process a deletion request, we permanently delete:

  • Your account and profile information (name, email, profile photo).
  • Content and metrics retrieved from the connected platforms covered by your request — including impressions, reach, views, engagement, and follower/subscriber data.
  • The access tokens we stored for those connections.

We may retain a limited amount of information where required by law (for example, records needed for tax, security, or dispute resolution), and we de-identify or delete it once that obligation ends. Because agencies use Ascend OS on behalf of their clients, some data may be controlled by the agency that owns the workspace; in that case we will coordinate the request with them.

4. Questions
